The screen is manufactured from PVC/polycarbonate, a clear plastic renowned for its high-impact strength and durability.

  Do the fittings and equipment comply with the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986.

The screens are non-permanent. Therefore we have the understanding that the screens should not be qualified as equipment or fitting. Furthermore, the terms fittings and equipment are unspecified in the Road and Vehicle Regulations.

  Are the screens tested to the relevant EU standard for an original equipment type approval test covering interior fittings, to include CE certification and evidence of automotive standard for fire retardant testing and certification.

The screen has a CE certification for its material. A screen and its fittings are non permanent therefore we see the material certification as leading.

  If not, is it possible for you to get this test done.

With our current understanding a test is not applicable.

  Are the screens approved by MIRA or other comparable independent product engineering, testing, consultancy and certification organisations?

With our current understanding this is not applicable.

  Can you provide certification to confirm that the screen does not compromise the integrity of the vehicle structure?

We understand that the structure of the vehicle is not altered and the screen is non-permanent, therefore manufacturer / OEM certification is not needed.

  Are the screens constructed of PETg or polycarbonate?

The screen is composed from 1.5mm flexible and transparent polycarbonate.

  Can you confirm that the screen does not impede the driver’s vision, movement, or communication with passengers?

Using the instructions to install the screen properly, the screen does not impede good vision, movement and communication with passengers.

  Can you confirm that the screen does not impede driver or passenger access or egress to the vehicle?

Using the instructions to install the screen properly, the passengers should have unlimited access to the vehicles.
